Kennedy Buys Drugs in Harlem
+ Free Concert in the Harlem Rose Garden
45 years ago, David Kennedy - the son of the late Robert Kennedy - was apprehended at 8th Avenue and 116th Street at a hotel where he was believed to be purchasing cocaine:
“Kennedy says it was robbery. Police say it was drugs. David Kennedy, the 24-year-old son of the late Sen. Robert Kennedy, says he was flagged down and robbed by two men as he was just riding though Halrem Wednesday. But a police Narcotics Division source says Kennedy was known in the area and was apparently there to buy cocaine. June 1979”
