Basketball Opera “Bounce” in Harlem

 After Harlem Celebrates 100 years of Schomberg Library and a wonderful well Juneteenth for year 2025 Harlem Prepares for the Basketball Opera Bounce to make its way to Harlem for the current year showing on June 21st, 2025 and June 28th, 2025. 

Described as “Busting the Boundaries of Opera” By New York Times Bounce the Opera includes an eclectic sound infused with Rap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, EDM and Gospel music with a message of morality and perseverance.

Bounce’s theatrical efforts to engage community in a collaborative way to connect youth with opera/performing arts with basketball in part as the medium for the arts offers a unique flare/allure while depicting aspects of maturing in today’s society in ways many can relate to.
