Dr. Brandon K. Allen in Harlem at St. Stephens Community Church

Dr. Brandon K. Allen of St. Stephen Community Church (located at 2145 Frederick Douglass Blvd. N.Y. N.Y. 10026) is recognized by Harlem Neighborhood Block Association for his community engagement in Harlem. via his pastoral acumen and dedication to community.

Dr. Brandon K. Allen is said to be hoping to expand services/programming he has led within Harlem seeking to build a better future in Harlem for community members to have access to valuable community resources, lessening deficiencies in accessibility within the community.

In June of the year 2023, Dr. Brandon K. Allen became the pastor of Saint Stephen’s community church in Harlem.

He partnered with Dr. Lena Green from HOPE Center, Harlem; a mental health clinic that was sponsored by First Corinthians Baptist Church offering vital free mental health services.

In the past Dr. Brandon K Allen has innovatively partnered with institutions like New York university and Columbia university to provide counseling twice a week within an academic school year with the intention to provide mental health services to those in need within the Harlem community.

 Additionally through St. Stephen Community Church, a baby café that provides important essential parenting supplies to parents, a partnership with EGN International Karate and Fitness Center making karate classes, accessible for children on select days during the week, school supplies have been given away, and there is hope to usher in the implementation of a food pantry at the church to address food insecurities within the community.

Dr. Brandon K. Allen invites the Harlem community to visit St. Stephen Community Church for Sunday service and he according to Amsterdamn News “Hopes to Continue to make a significant impact on Harlem”.
