Educated New Yorkers

+ Posterhouse

Educated New Yorkers are most prominently concentrated in the Upper West and Upper East Sides:

Note how both Staten Island and The Bronx in particular, have low numbers of residents with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

Head Down to Posterhouse

If you’ve never been to Posterhouse - one of NYC’s newest museums - make sure to carve out some time to head there.

The museum is not huge, but it’s very accessible, always fascinating, and has some of the best curation in the city. Posterhouse is located on West 23rd, between 6th and 7th:

Every Friday is free admission: https://posterhouse.org/hours-admission-location/

Right now Posterhouse has a great exhibit of travel posters that promoted New York for rail, sea, and air travel.

And while none of the posters highlight much beyond midtown and central park, the exhibit has included one great Harlem poster with an easy to miss “H” framing it all:

Make sure to head there before the NYC travel posters exhibit closes in mid September.
