This powerful invitation is a central mantra to Girltrek, a social justice organization that follows in the footsteps of the civil rights movement by activating thousands of Black women to be change-makers in their lives and communities — through walking.
Girltrek's unique synthesis of walking, history, storytelling, and uplift was highlighted on NPR:

(n.) A health movement organized by volunteers across America to inspire one million by 2020.
