Harlem, home to atelier Edwing D’Angelo few weeks ago on January 26th, 2025 celebrated its 5th year anniversary with a fundraiser funday in the heart of Harlem and Harlem Neighborhood Block Association (HNBA) caught up with the prestigious Edwin D’Angelo in February of year 2025 extending an even further gracious THANK YOU from the Harlem community thanking Edwin D’Angelo for his dedicated commitment as the Fundraiser Funday 5th year Anniversary Celebration had fantastic highlights of glamour, legacy, and purpose within the heart of Harlem.
The razzle-dazzle hype was real as the day of valor, innovation, impact and elegance culminating the 5th year of success at Edwing D’Angelo Atelier of Harlem atelier location recognizes the achievements Edwing has advances with Edwina D’Angelo and his leadership as a profound world-renowned Afro-Colombian designer whose style and grace is certainly on display in Harlem with storefront at 2231 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd.
After the successful soiree event HNBA journalist visited the pristine Edwin D’Angelo Atelier location speaking about some of the great success Edwing D’Angelo is accredited with and also taking a look into the future.
After tribute to the visionary Edwin D’Angelo during the 5th Anniversary Celebration for having succeeded at continually uplifting marginalized community members in underserved communities by having the proceeds of the soiree support the Edwing D’Angelo Foundation (a foundation that has set to train some number of 300 seamstresses in Colombia uplifting them from the risk/grips of poverty and is expanding), a business model Edwing states he is bringing to New York City to financially empower those in need including victims of domestic violence, the formerly incarcerated, and at risk youth by providing them with technical tailor/seamstress skills as an upcoming venture Edwing D’Angelo explains will be reaching Harlem via what Edwing describes as the inaugural space he will utilize to host such innovation to house the pursuit of making such technical tailor/seamstress skills training accessible to the public to with the goal of supporting those in need.
Some of distinguished awards/recognitions Edwing D’Angelo is accredited with includes Proclamations from governmental leaders displaced prominently at Edwing D'Angelo Atelier location supporting the great works Edwing D’Angelo has committed himself towards as well as major fashion accreditations found in Vogue USA magazine, Met Gala, films such as The Devil Wears Prada.
“Fashion could be a social enterprise that showcases our brilliant culture and has a positive impact on our communities” stated by Edwing D’Angelo; the true definition of an international force to be reckoned with... found nestled preciously in the Harlem Community.
