Harlem School of the Arts Gala raises $845k for youth
Gala marks HSA’s 61st anniversary
Harlem School of the Arts held their Annual Benefit Gala last month at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The night included a reception, followed by dinner and the Gala program. The evening concluded with plenty of dancing! The theme of this year’s gala was dedicated to the iconic television show, Soul Train!

The Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) gala marked its 61st anniversary. The event brought together artists, changemakers, and supporters to celebrate the enduring influence of Black culture—and raised over $845,000.
These funds will directly support scholarships and world-class arts training for nearly 5,000 NYC students each year, the majority of whom are Black or Latino and from underserved communities.
