Heroines and Heroes Run Harlem
January 19, 2025
Legends in Iron
Spend your Sunday morning in enlightening exercise with the Heroines and Heroes Run Harlem on January 19, 2025, the day before the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
The New York Flyers will be meeting at Cafe Amrita (301 West 110th St. Near Frederick Douglass Monument & Central Park West) at 8:20 to begin a run through Harlem passing by some of the statues that commemorate giants of Black history.
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday, the run celebrates great leaders in the fight for civil and human rights and for the economic and social well-being of Black America. They were cultural icons, saved lives and helped pave a path to greatness for all of us to follow. Join the New York Flyers and crews from throughout New York to meet the people who changed our world on the Harlem.
The run will be 3-11 miles with notes provided in advance for those who want to study up! More info here.
