Jackie Robinson - September 11 - HNBA's First Meeting of the Season

Book it. On Wednesday next week (the 11th, at 7:00 PM) you’re invited to the first HNBA meeting of the 2024/2025 season.

We’ll have presentations from:

  • Tapashi Narine - Administrator of Historic Harlem Parks - presenting on progress regarding the Marcus Garvey Park paths/stairs improvement project, as well as highlights for upcoming fall events

  • the CitiBikes for Students group that is advocating for low-cost CitiBike memberships for New York City Students.

  • CitiBikes for Students (low cost CitiBike memberships for students)

  • Open Plans NYC (traffic safety near Marcus Garvey Park)

  • The Jackie Robinson Foundation (keeping the memory and impact of number 42 alive and thriving in the 21st Century

The location is in the Salvation Army building (2nd floor) and just enter on 3rd Avenue (2306 3rd Avenue) between 125 and 126th Streets. Come meet some of your neighbors and learn what’s happening in the community.
