New York Public Library’s Teen Photography Kits

New York Public Library’s Teen Photography Kits are professional-grade camera kits that teens can borrow for a week at a time from participating libraries.

Each kit includes:

• Canon EOS Rebel SL3 DSLR camera

• Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens

• SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC memory card

• USB 3.0 multi-memory card reader

• Camera battery and charger

• Ruggard Onyx 35 camera shoulder bag

Any teen with a New York Public Library card can borrow a kit from one of the participating libraries above. Read and sign the loan agreement form with your parent or guardian at one of the participating libraries in order to check out a Photography Kit. More info and a list of libraries with kits here.

Every MONDAY NIGHT JAM at NAMA, you'll experience an unforgettable journey through Rhythms, Roots, Vocals in resonance with the African Diaspora from Jazz and Blues to Afro-Caribbean, Soulful Global Grooves!

The New Amsterdam Musical Association is located in a brownstone that was awarded a grant from the National Grant Program, a signature initiative of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. These grants recognizes sites that represent Black American life through modern architecture, education, sports, Black women's achievement, and more.
