On Tuesday, May 14th, HNBA will host another community meeting. We’ll meet at 7:00 PM at 2306 3rd Avenue (between 125th and 126th Streets) and have a great line-up of guests.
First up will be representatives from Odyssey House to talk about their recently revived supportive housing project on East 126th Street between Park and Madison.
Then, we’ll have Jordan Wright introduce himself and take questions from you. Jordan is a candidate for Central Harlem’s State Assembly seat. This district, (70) is up for grabs because of the retirement of Inez Dickens:
Finally, we’ll have a presentation by RHOAR NYC a group of one and two-family homeowners from all of NYC’s five boroughs who are:
…as dynamic, gritty and diverse as the city itself – immigrants, single parents, people of color, LBGTQ+. We are workers, artists, designers, activists, makers, caregivers, school teachers, and retirees. Active members of our local communities, we support neighborhood businesses, own local businesses, sit on Community Boards, run block associations and more.
We advocate for the return of our rights and autonomy, so we have the flexibility of home sharing and short-term rentals to afford and maintain our homes.
