All Saints
One of our neighbors noted the Urban Archive site for exploring historic photos in our community (https://www.urbanarchive.org/sites/UmSphixj8pY/w5mn1jSKsbj). One image from this archive of the All Saints (the landmarked former Catholic church at 129/Madison) revealed a number of things.
First of all, notice the penmanship. Just look at the "2":

And what happened to the girl who somehow popped up in the photo of the chruch, and the life she led in the early 20th Century:

Note that at this time, the church had a full steeple, and Madison had streetcar tracks. How Madison Avenue would be different today with a streetcar line, rather than the M1:

Also note the grocery store that was on the south-east corner of 129/Madison. Neighbors mentioned that 30 years ago, that that location was a bodega before it migrated across the street to the west side:
